A local tree service guy will call me if he's working on a tree in my area to see if I want the wood. This is a case where dumping it in my yard is closer than going to the dump. It works for him and I get free wood out of the deal. Before I got rid of my pickup truck, I was selling it, but now it's just for my personal use (and now my oldest son since he bought a house a couple of miles from me). This is always logs, never cut to size so my first job is chainsaw work to cut it to size that will fit within my log splitter's capacity of 24". Here's the load of oak that he delivered around lunchtime that I just cut to size. All PPE. After crushing 2 of my fingers in the splitter a couple years ago, I figured the last thing I needed was a chainsaw through my thigh. 🤣
