Evening,
I've recently gotten into oil-based pomades in my attempt to recreate the timeless hair styles of the 1940s - 1960s; which for me is usually something like a Hollywood side-part with the volume of a pompadour. I've been using Suavecito oil-based, as it was recommended by James Lawley (Gent Z) in his video on the old Hollywood hair style; and it has worked well for me thus far. Now that I know what works, I'd also like to explore the original products that people used in the era such as Brylcreem, Vitalis, Black & White, etc. From the description, Brylceem and Black & White sound the closest to Suavecito with an extra old-fashioned touch. Does anyone else have experience with these products and would like to share your thoughts and comparisons?
Thanks,
Bradley
