A shirt for height impaired

I decided to buy a shirt from one of the companies I found the tailor towards us height impaired guys, Ash & Erie.

It’s a mock turtleneck which means it’s not a sweater. It’s super soft and a bit heavier than most of my T-shirts. It states extra fine merino wool.

I’m 5’6” and I have a bit of the beer gut; not too big but big enough where I need to buy XL to be fit comfortably. For the record, I’m down a few pounds but not down to a large yet.

The shirt fits well BUT I would prefer just a little longer length; about 1” or maybe 2” even. The sleeve length is great. I paired it with an old off the rack jacket I bought about 20 years ago.
