Redtail users: what are you using for better workflow management?

We use Redtail CRM but are ready to move beyond its workflow system. Our biggest frustrations are maintaining workflow templates and the linear structure, particularly the inability to easily assign tasks for parallel processing.

We’re considering, in order:

An overlay like Hubly while keeping Redtail
A separate task/project management system like Process.st
Moving to a different CRM altogether

For anyone who has gone down one of these paths, what did you choose and how well has it worked? Particularly interested in Hubly experiences and other products we should consider.
