Dave could you please diagram how a quarter note hemiola is a 3:2 polyrhythm in 4/4. How do the notes line up? Thanks.

@Dave Smith With the 2 over 3 polyrhythm, assuming there are 8th note triplets over straight 8th notes, where are the triplets placed in relation to the straight 8th notes? Is one triplet placed on the clap, on the ONE & two AND? How do you notate the rhythm? Is my thinking on this right? Thanks for your help.

Any guitar players out there? I play classical guitar and I would like some help applying the rhythm work to my guitar playing. The only thing I am doing is playing the clap (percussion) on one or several strings. I think I am missing something. Thanks for your help.
