My sweet Lucy, who we had 12 years, passed December 2024. I was finally ready for another this spring and my aunt recently passed away and left Buddy to me. I’m in love and have dog sat her before.

I added some pages into the Fur Baby Gallery called #🌈🌉 Fur Babies Who Crossed the Rainbow Bridge . SOme of our best companions have gone from us, and they still hold our hearts. Please meet Jemma, a gorgeous golden retriever with a fluffy tail and a sassy wiggle walk. Jemma was my guide dog #3. I trained my first 2 myself, and Jemma and Nugget are both from Leader Dogs for the Blind. She got a cancer diagnosis in mid-January 2022. Then 2 weeks after the horrible news, she woke up blind in 1 eye after a nap, and that completely undid her. She died about 5 weeks after diagnosis, on Feb 20,, her 8th birthday. Jemma was the "fluff monster" with so much hair to brush daily. She brought much joy to everyone. I miss her still, even though Nugget is just wonderful. All of our fur babies are special. Some fur babies are especially special. The first pic shows off her smile and fluff. The second was her best day EVER when she got to go BACK to the Star Wheel Ferris Wheel in Branson. The third is the pillow I made for Mom commemorating that day. I don't have any pets, as I move around too much. And, the fur baby who lives here belongs to my mother. But we have a fur-less resident that I come across frequently 🐸 Today when Mum and I came home from shopping, we found our resident green tree frog (who is at least the size of my fist) basking in the dog's water bucket. I couldn't resist taking a pic as it was propped over the edge. Looks like it was having a lovely snooze. 😄
