Whats your plan as a player from July to Start of football season?

I attended my first college camp today with the University of Delaware (about 275 players). I really liked how it was ran. There were more drills, more 1v1 reps, 2 attempts on broad jump, 5-10-5, and 40! UA runs a very good and organized camp, but it is so quick… any thoughts on college camps vs UA, FBU, Rivals, etc? Next summer I am going to hit some other local college camps!

I have heard coach say i really want most kids to play just defense or offense. What is everyone thoughts?

Recruiters are not all the same and I would love to hear the Coaches address recruiting services here. There is a growing number of independent and affiliated recruitment companies that are not what they claim to be, who are aggressively recruiting kids on X. My son just moved on to play D1 football. Before he committed, we had a number of recruiters reach out to him from an organization called Expo Recruits. They used a templated messaging approach - and we had about 15 affiliated recruiters reach out to us . Every message was about the same. They artfully try to get athletes to agree to work with them, dangling gear and NIL deals as bait. Two recruiters actually impersonated D1 FBS coaches to get a follow back. When I researched them they were actually not on staff. We reported those individuals to the universities they claimed to represent. One of these recruiters recently reached out to a friend's son, who is a talented junior - offering him free merch if he agreed to work with them. I warned them about this company. If you are under 18 , there is NOT ONE reputable recruiter that will try to speak to you without your parents. If you are over 18, you should bring your parents into the discussion. This is especially true. If you are a talented player that is getting a lot of attention. There are agents and recruiters that are, unfortunately, working for selfish gain, and you need parental protection. @Tommy Reamon Can you give some advice and explain what you should look for if you're looking for a recruitment service? There are some reputable services - but some are better than others. My take: in addition to the admissions above, the way football recruiting has evolved, and based on our journey (we paid a lot of money to join NCSA) my personal opinion is that the best recruiting support comes from highly relational recruiters that have established relationships with targeted schools, and a proven reputation and track record. These types of recruiters tend to work with kids with proven talent, and work one-on-one. However, that often comes with a higher price tag. Before paying a recruiter consider getting a trusted evaluation from someone like the coaches here.
