Just curious if anyone has thought about modifying visegrips by cutting and welding for dents that have straight forward access like some hoods or fender wells? Walamrt has the HART visegrips that are only like $8 for the C clamp style and I am going extend them to about 18 or 20 inches and put pads on the ends that are about 1" x 1" with thin rubber. I would think that could be pretty efficient for adjusting pressures to conform the metal back into place on smaller dents. If it works out I'll post up some pics and make several varieties.
