PTN LIVE LISTENING SESSION – ROUND 2 NEXT WEDNESDAY, FEB 11 @ 7 PM CST
We are opening submissions for PTN’s second Live Listening Session. HOSTED BY our own: @Nate Michalic This session is focused specifically on music for visual media, so please read before submitting. (Submission info below) We are listening for cues or tracks that feel purpose-driven, structured, and built with picture in mind. 🎥Think arcs, scenes, ads, trailers, moments, and pacing. Music that could live under a story. Your cue does not need to be perfect. It needs intention. If it feels “almost ready,” or you want clarity on whether it truly lands for film, TV, trailers, or branded media, this room is for you. Before you submit, ask yourself: • Does this cue move in a way that supports visual media? • Does it have a clear structure, or is that something you want help with? • Can you hear it under a scene? • Does it have a sting, and what does the ending communicate? • Is the mix in a place where the idea can be judged? If any of this fits, or this kind of feedback would help you, send it in. SUBMIT VIA EMAIL: [email protected] Submission cutoff: Tuesday, Feb 10 at 7 PM CST We will review the submissions and play as many cues as the session time allows. Bring your best work forward.

Welcome to PTN EA – Classroom Overview
I’m fortunate to spend my time, amongst other things, teaching workshops, running one-on-one coaching, and working directly with creators who want to grow in visual media. PTN EA - is my way of bringing that same experience to a wider circle - my communities - in a way that’s structured, ongoing, and built to last. Every course here is designed to pull back the curtain on how music really works in picture - from concept to delivery - and give you tools you can apply to your own work immediately. ---- JUST in case you are new here, you can find a bit more about ME HERE <--------- -- We will start to run two tiers side-by-side: Pulse Tier (Free) Your open-access starting point. Core lessons, examples, and exercises you can use right away. A clear view of the process, the concepts, and the mindset that drive successful work in visual media. Broadcast Tier (Premium) Coming soon For serious creators ready to level up. Broadcast takes the same topics you see in Pulse and goes in-depth: full creative workflows, real briefs, case studies, feedback loops, and live working sessions. A mix of academia and industry experience, aimed at preparing you to work at a professional level. When Broadcast launches, every new course will drop in both tiers at the same time -- Pulse for the essentials, -- Broadcast for the complete system. --- Visual Media 101 — Pulse vs Broadcast (What’s the difference, why it exists, and how to try both) --- Both modules are live now: - PULSE - BROADCAST (Preview) While we’re building Broadcast, you can preview it here through selected modules and lessons. Think of it as a window into the deeper training, collaborations, and project opportunities that will roll out in the premium tier.

📺 PTN Insider Reports — Weekly Posts
The industry doesn’t hand out blueprints. We do. Most creators waste years trying to figure out how the industry works. Staying ahead is how I was able to get through the mess/noise others created.. or I "allowed" because I was not informed... So I had this mindset to get the right insights before everyone else. That’s what this is. Starting this week, we’re dropping something new inside the community: I’ll be dropping weekly reports inside this community that give you an inside look at what’s actually working in visual media music right now, straight from the --- 📺 The PTN Insider Report. --- Real case studies. Real projects. Real strategy. These aren’t hypotheticals. Each report gives you a direct look into how the music business actually functions for creators in visual media, covering deal structures, scoring workflows, licensing frameworks, publishing and rights management, creative career pathways, industry shifts, and simplified breakdowns of complex legal or business models that impact how creators earn, grow, and sustain momentum. - This is just the framework that these will touch on, to at least bring you, creators, the "awareness" lens. Each report follows a set rhythm -not just what’s happening, but how to interpret it. That’s why we built a full report skeleton to give structure. Here’s what to expect each week: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Every Weekly- PTN INSIDER REPORT - follows this Exact process: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • 📍 CONTEXT / INDUSTRY SHIFT - What’s changing right now and why it matters to you • 📂 CASE FOCUS / BREAKDOWN– We focus on something in the industry and break it down • ✅ TAKEAWAYS / ACTION STEPS - What you should be doing now to grow and position yourself • 🔬 PTN Lens - How we at PTN interpret this shift (simple, visual, or editorial POV) • 🔍 FINAL REFLECTION / CREATOR LENS - What this means for creators like us/ the mindset
