Importing predecessors and successors into TILOS from P6
@Ann H To answer your question: I just have a quick question regarding importing predecessors and successors into TILOS. I have created the programme using details from P6, mostly by importing data via plain text or manually updating the information. I would now like to link the activities in TILOS; however, doing this manually is quite time-consuming, as I have to go through each activity individually. Unlike P6, there does not appear to be a search function when adding a predecessor, which makes the process slower. I also tried importing the P6 file to bring in only the links, but this does not seem to work. Could you please suggest if there is another way to import the relationship details into TILOS? Solution: You can use the export import via excel and use the activity ID to identify the activities. You can import the predecessors like this based on their ids and you should match it to the P6 IDs. Please let me know how it works and if you still have this issue.

EOutOfResources in module PM.EXE at 0000000001D0761
Has anyone ever encountered the following error in Primavera P6? Application ErrorException EOutOfResources in module PM.EXE at 0000000001D0761.The parameter is incorrect. Context: - ~5,000 activities schedule - Resource-loaded (production schedule) - Using an advanced layout - Collapsed bar chart view - Custom bars enabled The error appears after working with the advanced layout setup. I’m trying to understand whether this is: - a known memory / resource limitation in P6 - related to custom bars or collapsed bar chart - layout corruption - or something else entirely - If you’ve seen this before or have a workaround (layout cleanup, preferences, settings, etc.), I’d really appreciate your insights 🙏 Thanks in advance! #PrimaveraP6 #ProjectPlanning #ProjectControls #PlanningEngineer #Scheduling #OracleP6

Linear Scheduling Method
Most project planners learn scheduling like learning a language — first the alphabet, then the words, then full sentences. When project planners first see a linear schedule in TILOS, it can feel like looking at scrambled letters. Dense lines. Multiple layers. A lot happening at once. 👉 I’m sharing a real example: the E18 Grimstad–Kristiansand highway project. https://ecostarplan.com/2026/02/11/tilos-linear-scheduling-explained-visualizing-the-e18-highway-project-beyond-traditional-gantt-charts/
