Leadership Pressure Questions
Here are some Friday AM pressure questions for leaders and upcoming leaders: 👉 What are you still carrying that should be developed in others? 👉 What are you not doing now that proves you’re not ready? 👉 Where are you inconsistent in leading yourself?
High Standards. Real Support. Both Matter.
Inside the Progressive Leadership Community, we talk often about growth, accountability, and leadership development. One of the hardest balances in leadership is this: How do you hold people to a high standard while still leading with empathy? Some leaders push hard but forget people are human. Others care deeply about people but avoid difficult conversations to keep the peace. Neither approach creates healthy leadership long term. What is your approach? Share and leave a comment.

Word of the Week
Leadership Word Series - Word of the Week Courage What are your thoughts? Coach Mike
Clarity or Confusion
🚨 Leadership Check: Clarity or Confusion? If your team is missing the mark, let me ask you something: Did you clearly define the outcome… or did you assume they understood it? Because teams don’t fail from lack of effort. They fail from lack of clarity. What you don’t define… gets interpreted. What gets interpreted… gets executed inconsistently. So the real question is not, “Why aren’t they performing?” It’s, “Where have I failed to make the standard clear?” 🔧 Your Move Before this week ends, identify one area where your team is unclear. Then fix it: • Define the outcome • Define what success looks like • Define what “done right” actually means And don’t skip this… Have your team repeat it back to you. If they can’t explain it clearly, you didn’t lead it clearly. 💬 Drop it below What’s one area on your team right now that needs more clarity? Let’s clean it up. Coach Mike
Consistency is the Leadership Advantage
Leadership Drop - Consistency. Consistency is not the exciting part of leadership. It’s not what gets attention. It’s not what gets applause. But it is what produces results. Most leaders start strong. Very few sustain. That’s where the gap is. Leadership is not built in what you start. It is built in what you sustain. If you haven’t read this week’s issue of The Collective, go back and read it. Then come back here. Question: What have you started strong… but failed to sustain?
