New Guy Questions
New guy here. Just curious about the following questions. I do have calls planned with a couple local schools to talk through these questions but thought some of you may have similar questions. 1. Does the age of the plane matter as long as the avionics are desirable and the plane is functionally safe? example - would a 1964 Cessna 172 with incredible avionics be more or less desireable than a 1980 Cessna 172 in the same mechanical shape, but simple avionics? 2. Do flight schools prefer high-wing or low-wing planes? I see a lot of 172's everywhere I go, but do students like the Pipers? What about Cirrus, are they worth the investment? 3. Do flight schools and students like the stick control planes? Has MOSAIC made these more popular? As far as I can tell in my area there is one school with a Diamond DA42 and one school in Wisconsin that uses a couple Vans. 4. Anyone have a spreadsheet or document to help determine what their base hourly rate should be?
INTRO
If it’s ok, I think it could be a good idea if people wanted to intro themselves so we could see who shares the same interest and we can follow them. We can use this template: NAME: PROFESSION: PROFESSIONAL INTEREST: GOALS: NAME: Raj Singh PROFESSION: By profession, I’m a physician. PROFESSIONAL INTEREST: business, aviation, commercial cleaning, sanitation. GOALS: I want to have a large base of training planes to be leased to flight schools and hope to expand into light and VLJ as well. I have an aggressive 3 yr goal.
How I Advertise a Deal
I just wanted to take a moment and give an example of one of the planes that I advertised on the triple net lease process. This was a beautiful 172 that we got from Arizona. it was spoken for about a week after we posted it. As you can see in the example in the pictures that I post below I’m completely open and transparent and let them know exactly what the triple net lease is. So you get an influx of leads and you just have to go through them and find the most qualified.

No Doc Airplane Loan
Hey guys, I had a very productive conversation with Jeff Graves. He is a loan officer that specializes in airplane loans and he has a multitude of lenders that will finance under pretty favorable terms. I told him I would be sending a lot of people to him. So when you reach out mention you were sent by Zach Purvis from Aviation Ape. Planes over $85k can get done with no docs and he is seeing 10%-15% down! His number is 859-608-7577 (Jeff Graves).
does anyone have an Example of a Postcard??
anyone have an example of a postcard to send to aircraft owners to inform them how we as a management company can put money in their pock dry leasing their airplane?
