New Guy Questions
New guy here. Just curious about the following questions. I do have calls planned with a couple local schools to talk through these questions but thought some of you may have similar questions. 1. Does the age of the plane matter as long as the avionics are desirable and the plane is functionally safe? example - would a 1964 Cessna 172 with incredible avionics be more or less desireable than a 1980 Cessna 172 in the same mechanical shape, but simple avionics? 2. Do flight schools prefer high-wing or low-wing planes? I see a lot of 172's everywhere I go, but do students like the Pipers? What about Cirrus, are they worth the investment? 3. Do flight schools and students like the stick control planes? Has MOSAIC made these more popular? As far as I can tell in my area there is one school with a Diamond DA42 and one school in Wisconsin that uses a couple Vans. 4. Anyone have a spreadsheet or document to help determine what their base hourly rate should be?

King Air GT Charter Lease Opportunity
I have an exciting one for you here guys. There’s a charter operation PRP Aviation here in Ocala Florida. They are a Cirrus dealer, part 135 charter operation and service center. Very white glove service. They are actively looking for someone to lease them back a King Air GT. If you’re interested, contact me directly and I will schedule a call with the owner and we can discuss terms.

Cheap Seller Finance Deal
Here’s a cheap one for you guys. I reached out to the seller and he would do seller financing on some pretty good terms. He said total purchase price would be $49,900. You could put down $5000 and finance the other $45,000 from him for a 60 month term at a 10% rate with no prepayment penalty This plane is not the best for Flight Training. It does not have a very high useful load and is very basic. It would just be meant for teaching people their tailwheel endorsements on. But it is cheap. It only cost five grand to get in and it is a seller finance deal. 1946 Cessna 140, Continental 85 Engine w 1760 hrs, annual May 2025. Engine on SAVVY program and last 2 oil analysis available. ADSB-Out installed 2024. KR 86 ADF, RT 459A transponder, KY 97A TSO comm radio.

Cessna 150 SELLER FINANCE DEAL
Hey guys, I have this Cessna 150 available on seller finance. This is a CHEAP one, but they all cash flow. For those in here that want to test the waters I already did the hard work for you. I know the seller personally and have gotten 3 planes through him already. This Cessna 150 has 400 hours SMOH!!! I would list this plane for $50/hour on a 50 hour monthly minimum, guaranteeing minimum $2,500/month and it can only do better. Triple net: flight school covers insurance, maintenance, fuel, hangar and operating cost. Sellers Terms Sales price $55k Down payment $25k Amount financed $30k for 12 months. $1000 monthly (interest only) no prepayment penalty you have 1 year to come up with the other $30k In case in 12 months buyer does not have the remaining 30k seller will consider extending financing with new terms.
