Stop Blaming the System. Debug Your Thinking.
There’s always a reason. I’ve been diagnosing and debugging computer problems for over 25 years. And if there’s one thing that’s held true that whole time... the computer never lies. The machine only does what you tell it to do. And when something goes wrong, nine times out of ten, it’s not the computer.. it’s you. Case in point: A client’s customer wasn’t getting emails. We checked everything... DNS, SPF, DKIM, lists, tags.. hours of troubleshooting. Switched to a new sending domain.. everything. Turns out... she subtly unsubscribed herself! One single setting buried in the platform.. She was subscribed, but opted out of the only broadcast topic available :/ The system was doing exactly what it was told. And that’s the lesson... It’s easy to blame the platform, the process, the market, the algorithm. But more often than not, the problem isn’t out there. It’s in the inputs. The assumptions. The instructions. That’s life too. When something “isn’t working,” don’t quit or blame the system. Keep pushing. Debug your thinking. Because once you find the reason, you’ll find the way. 🚀 - James
