Yesterday I posted a message about Choosing yourself but then I remembered that it’s sometimes hard to do that if we haven’t forgiven. I remember doing all my shadow work and having to come to a space within my heart to forgive everyone that ever harmed me or wronged me no matter how deep the pain was woven within me I had to find forgiveness in order to release the pain I was carrying…arriving at forgiveness is no easy feat. Then there came a realization that once again I left out myself. I forgave everyone and everything except me and that journey to forgiveness for me was the hardest part of my shadow work. I’ve spent a lot of years searching for Love in others…in relationships…I never found it…more importantly I never loved myself and I never chose myself but Today I choose me and I’ll choose me everyday because without love for myself I was never open or trusting love from others.
