You Will Never Be "Ready"
Hello All, it’s Friday, April 24, 2026. I hope you have a truly fabulous and productive weekend. You can do it. Here’s the simple truth: don’t wait until tomorrow, do it today. Today is a gift. A special occasion. You woke up… now go celebrate. Wear the dress. Put on the suit. Show up as your full self today. Stop waiting for things to get simpler, better, or easier. They may not. Do it scared! Do it imperfectly! Do it anyway! Life will always be complicated, but joy doesn’t wait for perfect timing. If we don’t learn to be happy now, we risk running out of time. You will never feel fully “ready,” because readiness is not a feeling it’s a decision. And don’t wait until you reach your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud every step of the way! You deserve good things today, included. I see you. I love you. You are enough. — Love EduQuita LaQuita Burden BSN RN NBH Clinical Educator, Manager Norton Brownsboro Hospital 4960 Norton Healthcare Blvd Louisville, KY 40241

You Will Never Be "Ready"
I am 49 today... Woot Woot!
Hello all, It’s Friday, April 17, 2026, and today is my 49th Birthday. I pray that each of you have a wonderful weekend. I hope you find joy...whether it’s Thunder Over Louisville, time with family, or simply a moment of peace to breathe and rest. This morning, I woke up overwhelmed with gratitude. So today, I felt led to say "thank you" from the deepest part of my heart. Thank you for every kind word, every encouraging response, and every message of appreciation you’ve shared over the years about my It’s Friday messages. Many of you may not know this, but these messages were born out of unimaginable pain. I started them after burying my best friend of 21 years, my husband, Eric Sr. and then losing both of my parents just six months apart. During that season, I was in an incredibly dark and heavy place. Grief had changed me not just emotionally, but physically and spiritually. I remember praying, sometimes barely whispering for any sign of hope. Any reason to keep going. And somehow, helping encourage others through these messages became a small light for me… something to hold onto beyond my children during those darkest days. Grief doesn’t ask permission. It reshapes you. It teaches you survival before healing. And even now, the journey continues. So, if these messages have ever lifted your spirit, even for a moment, know that you lifted mine too. And if you are reading this while silently struggling… if you’re exhausted, hurting, or sitting in your own dark place please hear me when I say this: keep going. I beg you. Get up and stay another day. And then another day. You can do this. You must do this. Even though you haven't seen it yet, there are so many people rooting for you. Stay! I see you. I love you. And you are enough, just the way you are. -Love EduQuita LaQuita Burden BSN RN NBH Clinical Educator, Manager Norton Brownsboro Hospital 4960 Norton Healthcare Blvd Louisville, KY 40241

EduQuita Fruday: You Deserve Better
Hello All, it is Friday, April 10th, 2026, Relax and recharge this weekend. Sometimes you don't get what you want because you deserve better. I want to pause and remind you of something we often forget when we spend our days pouring into others: you deserve good things too. You deserve rest without guilt. Joy without justification. Peace that doesn’t have to be earned. You are not only valuable for what you give, produce, or fix; you are valuable because you are. Take some time to do something that refuels you, that reminds you of who you are beyond your work. Come back knowing that your worth is not measured by exhaustion or sacrifice alone. Believe you deserve it, and the universe will serve it. I see you. I love you. You are enough. Take care of you this weekend. --Love EduQuita LaQuita Burden BSN RN NBH Clinical Educator, Manager Norton Brownsboro Hospital 4960 Norton Healthcare Blvd Louisville, KY 40241

The Choice to be Right or Kind
Hello All, it's Friday, April 3rd , 2026. I pray you have a beautiful Easter weekend. If you have a choice to be right or to be kind, Be kind and you will be right every time. Oftentimes we want to be right, but we are not kind in our pursuit to be right. Even the smallest acts of kindness can be a lifeline for someone who feels invisible. Your presence matters more than you realize.- Unknown You don't have to know what someone is going through to be kind. The reason why some people are kind is because the world has been so unkind to them that they don't want other people to feel the way they did. - Inspirology How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it.- Elliston Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.-Mother Teresa Reminder: The world is full of kind people. If you can't find one! Be one! -Unknown - Love EduQuita  LaQuita Burden BSN RN NBH Clinical Educator, Manager Norton Brownsboro Hospital

In Case of Emergency, Friday March 27
Hello All, it's Friday March 27th , 2026, I pray you have a great weekend. Today, release what weighed you down this week and step into the moment you're standing in. When you try to control everything, you enjoy nothing. Sometimes, you just need to relax, breathe, let go, and live in the moment. Give yourself permission to experience the beauty of life. No one tells you how hard it is to rewire your brain to allow amazing things to happen after experiencing trauma or pain. Blessings exist, good people exist, and a softer life exists. Let it happen. No one in this world is pure and perfect. If you avoid people for their mistakes, you will be alone in this world. So, judge less and love more. Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it. I love you. I see you, and you are enough just the way you are. - Love, EduQuita LaQuita Burden BSN RN NBH Clinical Educator, Manager Norton Brownsboro Hospital Louisville, KY 40241 Email: [email protected]
