Nothing like working with clay in the cold! I finally have heating and air in my home studio, but when it is freezing outside, my clay feels like ice! Post a picture of your latest make! I have been printing these all morning for people all over the country. Does anyone want one? Personally, I am making mugs to support the efforts in Minnesota. I havie orders already for 10 mugs. I started this because I felt helpless and watching what was unfolding there. A Minnesota artist created this piece of art depicting the Minnesota Loon in the style of the “Rebel Resistance “ fighters in Star Wars. He released the art into the public domain for artists to use to support the efforts in Minnesota. Personally, I am terrified of this happening in my little rural farming community. Hey Paula, I attempted a bowl on the wheel that turned into a tureen. Mine has an octopus and I also attempted a spoon or ladle and I mean attempt I don’t think it’s gonna make it.

Hey! Have you been watching TGPT? Well, I am addicted, so I decided to join in the fun (I wish I lived there so I could try out for the show - I would sooo do it!). The first challenge was to design and throw a Winter themed Soup Turine, ladle, and 2 matching bowls depicting something from your family. If you don’t know, we live on a farm and have lots of chickens, ducks, and geese (among other furry friends 😉 on the farm!). So, my soup turine depicts a few of my feathered friends on it! I have not thrown on my wheel in a bit, due to back surgeries, etc - was nice to see that I could do it! I hope it survives the kiln - not finished til it survives the glaze kiln!
