Jungle Gems
So… to break up the melancholy.. I’ve never used Jungle Gems… so if I put them on top of Amaco Snow, will they stay true to color?

Gwen Sandou's fun glazing idea
I pulled this piece out of the kiln yesterday that I had glazed inspired by Gwen's idea of 3 glazes of consecutive numbers. Thankfully this piece survived my huge oops on camera! On the bowl was attacked by my phone! Lol. I don't remember the numbers but the glazes are as follows: Mayco lavender mist Mayco Norse blue Mayco sand and sea I also added light flux It turned out kinda pretty! I think it would be great with a darker or contrasting color on the bottom and that dripping goodness on the top! If you watch my kiln opening I ask that you laugh. Don't feel bad for me. Just take it as it is and laugh because it is just clay and it is funny when you listen to me and see it. Had my husband dying laughing also❤️

Unloved Glazes: Let’s Bring Them Back to Life!
Inspired by Maxine’s (Colleypit Pottery) recent video, I have a question for all of you: Is there a glaze sitting on your shelf that you never use? A real “misfit” — the one you regret buying, that never behaves, or the one you’ve already given up on? 💔 Maybe some of us have found exciting combinations or unexpected results with those very glazes. I’d love for us to share our experiences so we can help each other revive those unloved guests in our glaze cabinets.🌈🙌 Let’s see if we can bring a few of them back to life together! 💛💪🏻

Is there such a thing as too many glazes? 🧐🎨
This question came up recently under a video by Lori B., and I’d really love to bring this discussion into our skool community. ❓❔❓❔ I’m honestly very torn. I own a lot of glazes — and I do make a conscious effort to use the ones that usually play only a minor role in my glaze choices. Still, I sometimes feel that the number of glazes I have now is so large that I probably couldn’t use them all up in a lifetime. And yet… there are moments when it suddenly feels like it’s not enough. Then I catch myself sitting in front of my laptop, adding one or two “missing” glazes to my cart. 🙈 So I’m curious: - Are you disciplined when it comes to glazes? 🙅🏼‍♀️ - Do you have a small, favorite selection that you stick to?🙋🏼‍♀️ - Or do you also enjoy experimenting and collecting?🙆🏼‍♀️ Is there such a thing as too much? And if yes — what is too much? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Is there a number where you’d say: that’s enough? I do think pottery is an expensive hobby. But right now, there’s honestly nothing else I spend money on — except traveling and pottery. Being on the road, discovering new places, and sitting in my studio making things (besides my regular work) is such a big part of my life. I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💬 How do you feel about glazes? How many do you have?
