New Group Name Announcement 🌱
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a small but important update with you.
Today, sent me a personal message that really gave me something to think about. We talked about whether the name “Pottery Moms” might unintentionally discourage people—especially men or anyone who doesn’t identify as a mom—from joining this wonderful group, even though they love pottery just as much. 🔥💪🏻
That is the very last thing I would ever want. This group is meant to be open, welcoming, and inspiring for everyone who enjoys working with clay.
So with that in mind, I’ve renamed the group to POTTERY PEOPLE. My hope is that this new name makes it easier for more people to feel invited and included, and to find their way into this community.
I truly hope this change is okay with all of you, and that I’ve acted in your spirit and on your behalf. Thank you for being such an amazing, supportive group 💛
