Fun, stressful vid to make. Took me way too long to edit because I knew Collectr would only repost it if I did a good job, and they just did so Yatta!

I landed my Collectr sponsorship the simplest way possible: I asked. I pitched my vision, showed how I’d integrate their app into my videos, asked for a trial run, delivered results, sent them performance metrics—and they signed me long-term.

Now they sponsor 7–10 videos every month. I honestly might be the smallest creator they support, but that alone has given me credibility and led to opportunities I never thought possible.

But here’s the truth: it came with a cost. I traded my six-pack for a one-pack. I gave up rock climbing, one of my favorite hobbies, because every spare hour now goes into Pokémon.

Behind the scenes, I’ve spent thousands of dollars — an Excel programmer, a Discord developer, even buying products I didn’t need just to build relationships with sellers I wanted to learn from to pass the knowledge on to our community.

At different times, I’ve also hired a mindset coach, a business coach, a fitness coach, and now a sleep coach. Each one pushed me forward when I didn’t know what to do next. Without them, I would’ve burned out or stalled.

The lesson? Building something real will demand sacrifice. It will require an investment of time, resources, and comfort. But with the right support and guidance, growth is not just possible, it's Likely and it's worth it.
