SV Sealed - Worthy Investments to offload later?
I’ve been eyeing some “cheaper” SV sets such as temporal forces and Paradox Rift to buy sealed booster boxes or cases of booster boxes…just not sure if there is much projection to gain value on those sets compared to the likes of Destined Rivals, 151, Prismatic, or even Paldea Evolved. Anyone have thoughts? Hope is to gain some value over the next 6 months or so to get some gains to hopefully offset for the 2026 rayquaza set coming this year but wonder if the cash is best to be held onto and saved for future spending.

short answer..yes. All sword and shield I think are price and positioned to move. These less popular sets might stay stagnant for LONGER, you might need a lot of patience, but when it moves it will move... based on performance of past "garbage" sets, that are now also thousands of dollars.

Alan i just realized you were talking about SV, the answer is also YES lol. just diversify but focus on the most popular sets. Surging is def a sleeper rn

Good or bad investment?
Did I make a good investment by paying 800 for this? Also is this fixable?

@Nathan Quezada this is a touigh one because while it's ok to clean a card, technically you can't paint.. that's an alteration that would get you dinged if you wanted to grade. I never recommend buying new raw cards in the first month of release, prices will 90% of the time always drop down significantly. Of course if you hold for years you'll be fine, but in the short term you'll be underwater for a bit.

I did NOT keep it sealed…
Did some gambling tonight with my girl. Got 2 Ascended Heroes PKC ETBS for retail (keeping sealed). Went to the mall day of release and found a $50 AH ETB @ Josh’s Toys. My girl pulled a big one 😄.
