I’m pretty sure most have already heard about the GameStop deal of $30k for the Gengar. Regardless if it’s real or not, it is something that put more eyes on Pokémon. I’ve seen several post online from people who don’t even care about Pokemon, mention “let me go in my attic/basement/storage and see what my cards are worth. This could possibly set up the new wave or “hype” especially with the new year, new set and 30th anniversary right around the corner. Probably would be a good idea to- get those cards graded you’ve been procrastinating about, grab those chase cards you’ve been eyeing, or just go through all your cards to do a good thorough check on your inventory. I believe 2026 is the year that will have some of us on a new level, whether it’s in Pokemon or in some other investment.
