God (and USA History)? Salem Witch Trials (Thoughts)
The Salem Witch trials, in which 200 “witches” were accused and basically all found guilty and killed in 1692 is a dark period of religious fervor in American history.among the Puritans. Would a deep dive into the Salam Witch trials, held in Massachusetts be of interest? However, do you believe God, in the positive sense, has a valuable role in American society, our schools, our culture since its Founding? And what role should the word “God” be uttered? The Seperation of Church and State is not stated in the U.S. Constitution! It merely says the government can not “Establish a Religion”. So we have freedom of religion. Do you think prayer should have been taken out of public schools, because it used to be there? Where God is Stated: The Declaration of Independence: “We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”(no guarantees there) On our Currency: In God We Trust The Pledge of Allegiance: One Nation, under God…. The Oath of Office: “So help me God” My thoughts: May God bless you, and God bless America!

FDR’s 4 Terms (Presidential King?)
It’s Presidents’ Day and I included him in my Top 7 Presidents in U.S. history (1933-1945). The only President to serve more than 2 terms. The 22nd Amendment was passed after he passed away in office saying presidents could only be elected to 2 terms. 10 years maximum if becoming president as VP to President like Lyndon Johnson when JFK was assassinated, could still run for 2 elections. What are your thoughts on term limits for a U.S. President and do you think Congressmen, Senators, and Supreme Court Justices should have terms limits of some kind because they don’t?
