Is Frank Sinatra’s“New York, New York” the greatest USA city Anthem Ever? It’s hard to beat! Although Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” and other notable city songs exist, even a State song like “California Girls” by the Beach Boys, “The Midnight Train to Georgia” is also a classic, but it’s not about Georgia. Frank Sinatra seems in a different Catagory. Your Thoughts

When did “checking candy” for foreign objects become “a thing”? For me after 1980 and it was irritating that 1 or 2 events “scared the masses into going through all treats! I believe this lead to the Trunk-or-Treats “Mom’s” trusted more. I could be wrong. I NEVER worried about it, but I believe Mass beliefs get assigned to people through the Media. Tell me Your thoughts.

Do You think Michael Jackson’s Thriller music video pushed it to near Immortality (Zombie reference)? Also, is Thriller the best music MTV video EVER? Last, does Michael Jackson qualify as one of the greatest singers Ever of all time? “It’s close to midnight, and something evil’s lurking in the dark. Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart.” P.S. - Vincent Price at the end with his “maniacal laugh” remains legendary!

Do You vote in Midterm elections? 1/3 of the Senate is up for Election and ALL House Congressmen! Moreover, do You believe the Democrats would try a 3rd Impeachment even if they win the Midterms? Will Republicans retain the House and Senate to align with Trump in the 2026 midterms? Doubtful. The party in power nearly always loses the Midterms. My Expert opinion is No More Impeachments because Trump’s Constitutionally can’t run for president again. Do You agree with No more Impeachments?

Is Don Mclean’s song the Greatest Ever? What is your favorite part? Buddy Holly (That’ll be the Day that I Die), Jimmy Valens (La Bamba), and the Big Bopper were killed in a Small plane crash sadly. My favorite part is “And the 3 men I admired the most, the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. They took the last train for the Coast, the day the music died”. As I like religious references. @Mark Osborne is a music expert know much than I about the song itself. It does reference Nuclear War however, “the birds falling fast”, we were still facing the Soviets at those times.
