Was Nancy Pelosi (2020) ripping up Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address copy THE WORST, MOST DISGUSTING display by a Speaker of the House EVER!
Barack Obama called out a Supreme Court case he disagreed and Congressman Joe Wilson (2009) said the famous “You lie” moment. The President was wrong.
The Constitution, Article II, Section III,Clause I states the President “shall from time to time give to Congress a State of the Union…recommend for consideration he judge necessary and expedient”
In modern times, Woodrow Wilson started in 1913, the trend of standing in the House of Representatives delivering the address in person.
