𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐝 The Best Promoter and 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 Not creepy. Strategic. Here's why it worked…. I was organizing events in San Francisco and kept going to this ONE guy's parties. The crowd was PERFECT. Energy was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful people. Great locations. …and the Parties were Always ON FIRE! I thought: "I NEED to work with this guy." But he had his own restaurant and club. He was successful. ….𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞???.... So I watched him VERY CAREFULLY. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝: -- What kind of crowd did he attract? -- What was he picky about? -- What did he value? – What was MORE important than anything else? – How did he have a Line Out The Door Where Many ppl. Did Not Even Get IN? I found out: ....Not only was he EXTREMELY ANTI-DRUGS at his events.....Anyone caught was IMMEDIATELY kicked out. …He knew how to Attract The Right Crowd with the Right Attitude …And he Created an Energy And Excitement for His Parties that NOBODY… NOOOOBODY in San Francisco could EQUAL.. I set out on a Mission to Emulate him… Maybe Even Become Better than him.. ….𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 “My” Focus… 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞: I had access to the SCANDINAVIAN COMMUNITY in San Francisco through the Young Scandinavian Club and My own connections. Good-looking, WELL-BEHAVED, FUN PEOPLE….who ALL Loved to PARTY! I approached him: "Let me throw NORWAY'S CONSTITUTION DAY (May 17th) party at your place?" He agreed. I brought 600+ WELL-DRESSED, WELL-BEHAVED SCANDINAVIANS to his club, Who All loved to Drink and Party Down…. ….𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘…. The crowd was EXACTLY what he loved. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: My girlfriend and I invited him and his wife to OUR HOUSE for dinner. We got to know each other as PEOPLE, not just business contacts. We became FRIENDS, Very Good Friends…. Then BUSINESS PARTNERS. That relationship led to some of the BIGGEST PARTIES in San Francisco. ….𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 Amazing 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭s at the Top Hotels in SF: The Fairmont Hotel (where the King and Queen of Norway would stay, when in SF), The Hilton, The St. Regis Event Center..the List goes on….

Tell me about your wildest party that you have already planned in your mind. What is it like? Who's going to be there? Where are you going to host it? Do you have a theme? What other things have you thought about? Have you thought about co-hosts? Have you thought about sponsors? Have you thought about the design of the outside? I always had a red carpet outside, searchlights, die-cals with my party names, a bouncer or two dressed up in a tuxedo, and with red ropes hanging from nice little poles. How are you gonna do the inside? Do you have one dance room or more than one type of music? I used to have European music in one room, 70s and 80s in another one, Latin music in another one. Very often we had live band with 10-15 people playing salsa music. We had a Persian room too. So obviously this all depends on what your crowd is like and the different groups you're working with. But how do you, for instance, tie it into those groups? I found a great way to do is to invite other people to your big event as co-hosts. Like for instance in San Francisco, And salsa crazy, they had a huge following in the Latin group. Then I did the same for the Russians, I did the same for the Brazilians, I did the same for the Persians. And me being European, I had all the contacts for the Europeans. And so what kind of entertainment are you going to have inside? Are you going to have a happy hour early on to get people early on? How are you promoting your event? Who are you promoting through? This is just something for you to ponder about, as I became quite the expert when it came to launching events and coming up with unique events that people would like. How do you do that? sk your target market to share some ideas with them. If they're like you, they'll probably like some of the ideas that you came up with.
