Here's why it workedโ€ฆ.
I was organizing events in San Francisco and kept going to this ONE guy's parties.
The crowd was PERFECT. Energy was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful people. Great locations.
โ€ฆand the Parties were Always ON FIRE!
I thought: "I NEED to work with this guy."
But he had his own restaurant and club. He was successful.
โ€ฆ.๐–๐ก๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ž???....
So I watched him VERY CAREFULLY.
๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ˆ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐:
-- What kind of crowd did he attract?
-- What was he picky about?
-- What did he value?
โ€“ What was MORE important than anything else?
โ€“ How did he have a Line Out The Door Where Many ppl. Did Not Even Get IN?
I found out:
....Not only was he EXTREMELY ANTI-DRUGS at his events.....Anyone caught was IMMEDIATELY kicked out.
โ€ฆHe knew how to Attract The Right Crowd with the Right Attitude
โ€ฆAnd he Created an Energy And Excitement for His Parties that NOBODYโ€ฆ NOOOOBODY in San Francisco could EQUAL..
I set out on a Mission to Emulate himโ€ฆ Maybe Even Become Better than him..

I had access to the SCANDINAVIAN COMMUNITY in San Francisco through the Young Scandinavian Club and My own connections.
Good-looking, WELL-BEHAVED, FUN PEOPLEโ€ฆ.who ALL Loved to PARTY!
I approached him: "Let me throw NORWAY'S CONSTITUTION DAY (May 17th) party at your place?"
He agreed.
I brought 600+ WELL-DRESSED, WELL-BEHAVED SCANDINAVIANS to his club, Who
All loved to Drink and Party Downโ€ฆ.
โ€ฆ.๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐๐‹๐Ž๐–๐ ๐€๐–๐€๐˜โ€ฆ.
The crowd was EXACTLY what he loved.
๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ˆ ๐ƒ๐ข๐๐ง'๐ญ ๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž:
My girlfriend and I invited him and his wife to OUR HOUSE for dinner.
We got to know each other as PEOPLE, not just business contacts.
We became FRIENDS, Very Good Friendsโ€ฆ. Then BUSINESS PARTNERS.
That relationship led to some of the BIGGEST PARTIES in San Francisco.
โ€ฆ.๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ง๐  Amazing ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญs at the Top Hotels in SF: The Fairmont Hotel (where the King and Queen of Norway would stay, when in SF), The Hilton, The St. Regis Event Center..the List goes onโ€ฆ.
I also did pre-parties at his CLUB/RESTAURANT with 400 people, then 8 buses to attend a Gipsy Kings concert.
He knew the MANAGER OF THE GYPSY KINGS (the world's most popular band in the 1980/90s), which opened even more doors.
All because I did my homework FIRST.
After 22 years organizing events, here's what I learned:
๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐จ๐ง'๐ญ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ "๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ."
You STUDY who runs them. You LEARN what they care about. You SHOW them you can DELIVER what they want. Then you BUILD A REAL RELATIONSHIP.
The best venue deals don't come from cold emails.
