….𝐈 𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐧…. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍: I remember one Friday night in San Francisco….I'd had a couple of drinks at home, alone,... and decided to go for a walk. I was dressed way too casually to go anywhere nice and honestly….I would NEVER go to a party by myself. So I just walked..... And I remember seeing them.... Young vibrant college kids lined up outside a dance club….all dressed to the nines….laughing, flirting, full of energy….ready to have the time of their lives. ....Fraternity guys rolling deep with their crew. Girls everywhere. Energy through the roof. And I wished I was one of them. But I wasn't. I was a lonely foreign student from Norway in a brand new country with almost no friends. No fraternity. No crew. No brotherhood. No one to call up and say "hey let's go out tonight." I didn't even have anyone to grab a meal with most days. ….𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲….𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈'𝐦 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭…. Maybe you're in a fraternity right now and you're the social chair trying to figure out how to throw events that actually MEAN something. Or maybe you're NOT in a fraternity and you're watching those guys have all the fun while you're sitting in your dorm wondering how to break in. I wasn't used to "dating" the American way. Back in Norway we went out in GROUPS. You'd meet girls naturally through friends of friends. No pressure. No awkward one-on-one pickup lines. No swiping right and hoping for the best. Just good energy in a group setting and things would happen organically. But here in America? I didn't have the group. I didn't have the crew. I was watching other guys surrounded by girls having the time of their lives while I stood on the outside looking in. ….𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮…. You don't need a fraternity to have a brotherhood.

The crowd was PERFECT. Energy was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful people. Great locations. …and the Parties were Always ON FIRE! I thought: "I NEED to work with this guy." But he had his own restaurant and club. He was successful. ….𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞???.... So I watched him VERY CAREFULLY. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝: -- What kind of crowd did he attract? -- What was he picky about? -- What did he value? – What was MORE important than anything else? – How did he have a Line Out The Door Where Many ppl. Did Not Even Get IN? I found out: ....Not only was he EXTREMELY ANTI-DRUGS at his events.....Anyone caught was IMMEDIATELY kicked out. …He knew how to Attract The Right Crowd with the Right Attitude …And he Created an Energy And Excitement for His Parties that NOBODY… NOOOOBODY in San Francisco could EQUAL.. I set out on a Mission to Emulate him… Maybe Even Become Better than him.. ….𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 “My” Focus… 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞: I had access to the SCANDINAVIAN COMMUNITY in San Francisco through the Young Scandinavian Club and My own connections. Good-looking, WELL-BEHAVED, FUN PEOPLE….who ALL Loved to PARTY! I approached him: "Let me throw NORWAY'S CONSTITUTION DAY (May 17th) party at your place?" He agreed. I brought 600+ WELL-DRESSED, WELL-BEHAVED SCANDINAVIANS to his club, Who All loved to Drink and Party Down…. ….𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘…. The crowd was EXACTLY what he loved. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: My girlfriend and I invited him and his wife to OUR HOUSE for dinner. We got to know each other as PEOPLE, not just business contacts. We became FRIENDS, Very Good Friends…. Then BUSINESS PARTNERS. That relationship led to some of the BIGGEST PARTIES in San Francisco. ….𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 Amazing 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭s at the Top Hotels in SF: The Fairmont Hotel (where the King and Queen of Norway would stay, when in SF), The Hilton, The St. Regis Event Center..the List goes on….
