Career Adventure/ Career Journey/Career Pathway?

✨ After the amazing Parent Power Hour session on Monday, it got me thinking… 🤔

For years, I’ve used the phrase “career journey” 🧭 because when I worked in the nonprofit space, we preferred it over “career path.”

A career path sounds like a straight line from A ➡️ B… and we all know careers rarely work that way anymore.

But during Parent Power Hour on Monday, I found myself using the phrase “career adventure.” 🗺️✨

And now I’m wondering if I like that even better.

Words carry meaning—both positive and negative. 💭

Journey can feel long or even arduous 🥾⛰️. When I hear it, I picture a trek.

Adventure, on the other hand, feels exciting 🚀 full of possibilities 🌟 and open to discovery.
