I’m curious if anyone here includes a penalty clause in their contracts to encourage clients to attend regular update meetings.
Lately, I’ve noticed some clients frequently miss our weekly update meetings, which ends up delaying approvals and deliverables.
I’m considering adding a small penalty clause to future contracts, something like a fee that carries over to the next invoice if a client misses a meeting without at least 24 hours’ notice (exceptions for genuine emergencies, of course).
Has anyone here implemented something similar?
