Imagine YouTube Algorithm like a salesman going door-to-door. Day 1: The salesman goes to Neighborhood A. He knocks on doors but nobody opens (your CTR is low). No problem. Day 2: The salesman tries Neighborhood B. Once again, nobody is home or interested in this content. So should we delete the video? No. Day 3: The salesman tries Neighborhood C. Now he finally finds a street full of customers ready to talk (CTR is high). But what if you delete your video after Day 1 because you didn’t get views or clicks, the salesman never gets the chance to find the neighborhood where people actually like your content. Here’s the real key: Focus on Engagement per Viewer. If the few viewers who open your video actually enjoy it, YouTube notices. But if people click, swipe away, and never return, the algorithm won’t push your content to more people.
