Crazy to think it’s only been three months since I started this! What began as a small idea (and an even smaller budget) has turned into a store making over $10K every single day. Never Try to Sell
I wanted to share a little insight into how I approach creating content, especially when it comes to something like skincare marketing. One key thing I’ve learned is that people really don’t want to be “sold to” right off the bat. Instead, I focus on educating first and then gently introducing the promotional angle later. For example, when I create a script for a skincare reel or video, I structure it like this: - 60% education: Talking about the ingredients, why they matter, and how they benefit the skin. - 20% curiosity: Comparing what the market usually does (like gender-specific formulas) versus what we do differently. - 20% promotion: Finally, I softly introduce the product or service, explaining why it’s unique. By leading with education and storytelling, I’ve found that the audience is more engaged and receptive when it’s time to introduce the product. I’ve been applying this method in my own projects, and it really helps build trust and interest before making any kind of “ask.” Feel free to check out some of my work and let me know what you think!
