Hi everyone — quick question about Voice AI.
I’m setting up the Voice AI website widget (the one that speaks to visitors inside the chat widget).
In my case, nobody will be calling it — it will only talk to users on my website.
👉 Question:
If I’m only using Voice AI inside the website widget, do I still need to buy a Twilio/LC phone number — or can it work without one?
And if a number is required, can I just purchase any Twilio number only so the AI functions, even if customers never call it?
For context — I’m based in Saudi Arabia, and I’ll also be using Conversational AI with WhatsApp (likely with my Saudi number). The Voice AI is just for website voice interaction.
