Thanks and for a great first session today! I have two items: - Where can I find the recording for session 1? I'd like to go back to some feedback you shared with me live.
2. After going down the rabbit hole with AI I have created the following "I'm thinking about" post, keeping in mind that I needed to go a bit off-brief since the package I want to offer isn't a carbon copy of what I do now.
I’ve been thinking about how social enterprises mobilise people around their mission.
Many organisations have customers, supporters or volunteers who care about the work.
But participation often stops there. People care about the mission but there is no clear structure for how they can actively contribute to it.
Most of my work focuses on community design and participation systems. Helping organisations turn passive audiences into active communities.
I’m starting to explore whether those same ideas could help social enterprises strengthen things like:
• volunteer participation
• community advocacy
• supporter led fundraising
• local partnerships
Before developing anything, I want to understand where community mobilisation actually helps and where it doesn’t.
If you are:
• running a social enterprise that relies on volunteers or community participation
• a fundraising or development specialist working with social enterprises
I’d really appreciate a short conversation to learn from your experience.
No program yet. I’m trying to understand where the real gaps are and also find potential collaborators for it's delivery.
If you would be open to a 20–30 minute chat, please send me a message!
