it was hard for me to wrap my head around paying a sales guy more than I pay myself from the biz
But looking back, this was the BEST decision I have made for our business
He has been ripping quotes this month
He's more focused than I was (less moving parts)
He's better at talking to customers
He's better at the sales process
As the leader of the biz, it's hard to let go of the ropes sometimes
Especially when someone is better than you at something
But I'm learning that my job is to simply put the right players in the right positions
And let them eat!
Little over halfway thru and he's sent $592k in quotes
will we close them all?
Unlikely
But I do know one thing...
you can't hit the ball if you don't have "at bats"
would highly encourage y'all to recruit your sales rep if you're an owner still doing sales
