What's Next? (5‑Minute Check‑In)
Quick favor to ask: I’m planning the next 90 days of trainings, checklists, and tools inside OWNR OPS Skool. Rather than guess from behind a screen, I want to double down on what’s actually helping you in the field and cut out the fluff. So I put together a short SURVEY (5–7 minutes). Inside it I’ll ask you three simple things: - Where you’re getting the most value inside the group right now - What specific wins you’ve had from using the stuff in here - What we should make next (pricing, leads, follow‑up, scheduling, hiring, etc.) I’ll use your answers to: - Decide what we teach and build next - Tune up what’s confusing or not getting used - Pull real before/after wins so other operators can see what’s possible If you’ve ever watched a lesson, used a checklist, joined a live, or changed something in your business because of this group, I want to hear from you. What to do: 1. Click the survey here: 👉 LINK TO SURVEY 2. After you finish, come back & comment “Done” + your biggest win from the group so far. That’s it. I’ll read every single response and share what we learn with you all so you can see what’s working for other operators too. Some of you are quietly stacking big wins in the background, and this helps us surface those and build around them. Thank you for taking the time to do this. It directly changes what I build for you next.

LIVE TOMORROW: STOP BURNING MONEY ON ADS
Tomorrow morning @Jacob Neffendorf is going live to walk through what he's seeing right now across 300+ land clearing / forestry mulching ad accounts If you’re running Meta ads, thinking about it, or complaining about “tire kickers,” this one is for you. Here’s what we’re hitting: 1. Your Videos Are Either Working… Or Wasting Cash He just pulled the numbers: - Good creative: $15–$30 per lead, real homeowners who actually book. - Weak creative: $150–$200+ per lead, same markets, same budget. 2. Tire Kickers = Bad Creative If your ad only shows a machine shredding trees, you attract people who think it’s cheap. We’ll show you how to talk so serious buyers call you and time‑wasters keep scrolling. 3. Weekend Lead Leak The data: weekend leads are the same as weekdays, but close way worse. Why? Most guys don’t touch leads until Monday. We’ll show you how the top guys work weekend/evening leads in minutes and get 2–3x more jobs from the same ad spend. 4. Know Your Numbers (Or You’re Guessing) We’ll help you answer 4 simple things: - Cost per lead - Close rate - Average job size - Real ROI WHEN: Tomorrow, 7:00am Mountain / 8:00am Central WHERE: Live on YouTube https://youtube.com/@theownerop Comment “LIVE” below if you want the link + reminder. Bring your last 30 days ad spend and best guess on leads so we can rough in your numbers live. P.S. I'm announcing next steps for the Founding Members who won the Top 10 Leaderboard BONUSES

Can someone point me to slope safety and limits for newer operators.
Title ^ Would help I quoted a STEEP property today and was unsure of the entrance to his access. once i got down it leveled out but wow my first instinct was to say i cant make the machine down here but he assured me another skid steer was down there. I am so new i am just not sure its worth the risk. Any tips? Ill upload some pics

@James Louros when dealing with steep slopes you have to be comfortable in the machine. The ctls can handle steep slopes but not knowing your machine and the tipping points with a 3000lb mulcher hanging off the front will get you in trouble. When mulching I prefer mulching up the slope if I can. Keep it closer to the ground and they will amaze you at what they can do. Get some set time in the machine and go slow. Bid accordingly because it will take longer.

If you do not own a piece of equipment yet I would recommend demoing or renting different machines. Everybody has their preference and would base on your personal opinion. I have run Taks, Cat, Kubota, Bobcat and Deere. I personally like Deere for comfort, and performance. These days most machines in the same size are comparable. They all have pluses and negatives so compare and find the machine your comfortable
