98% of businesses are now advertising digitally on Facebook and Google.
Its like almost every business on earth is competing for a spot in New Yorks Times Square Most of you are going to Facebook or Google and saying: “Hey, show my business to everyone in [XYZ location, age, interest, etc].” But guess what? So is everyone else. You're now one of thousands of businesses fighting in an auction to get in front of the same group of people. Here’s the catch: - Only a tiny percentage of those people actually need what you’re offering right now. - An even smaller group might impulsively want it. That’s the cold truth about how digital ads work: They're driven by necessity or impulse - not by relationship, trust, or long-term brand affinity. Which means… If someone doesn’t need your offer today, or feel an emotional urge right now — your ad does nothing. Organic marketing negates this because your cultivating relationships with customers who may not want something immediately but providing you do it correctly will remember you at a later stage.

Use this Secret weapon for free organic traffic
Hardly any advertisers pay attention to this secret weapon and it absolutely baffles me why So here it is… S͓̽O͓̽C͓̽I͓̽A͓̽L͓̽ C͓̽O͓̽M͓̽M͓̽E͓̽N͓̽T͓̽A͓̽R͓̽Y͓̽. In 2025, real-world social interaction is in rapid decline. For many, the internet is the only place they feel heard—a space to share thoughts, opinions, and perspectives. That’s why there’s a popular phrase floating around social media: "I’m just here for the comments." People love seeing what others have to say—whether it’s about a trend, a product, or a cultural moment. In fact, it’s common to see posts with more comments than likes or shares. Yet business owners, marketers, and advertisers consistently ignore this goldmine. They push content out and hope it "does its thing." 🚨 No! 🚨 Your content must spark conversation, and your brand must be an active part of that conversation. Here’s why: ✅ It makes your brand part of the culture. When people see you engaging, it signals that you’re involved, not just broadcasting. ✅ Authenticity builds trust. No one likes a faceless brand. Showing up in the comments makes you relatable. ✅ Algorithms and SEO love comments. More comments = more engagement = more organic reach. Simple. ✅ You can steer the narrative. Want to polarize an audience in your favor? Want to frame the discussion around your brand or product or service ? This is how. ✅ It attracts new fans. Taking a stance—whether humorous, informative, or thought-provoking—can turn passive scrollers into active supporters. ✅ It boosts watch time. More comments mean more people sticking around to read, which leads to more platform exposure. 🚀 The bottom line: If your content isn’t creating discussion, you’re leaving a massive opportunity on the table. Instead of just posting, start participating. The impact is bigger than you think.

🚨How to get organic reach on social
A member messaged me this week saying he was struggling too get organic engagement on his instagram...... I took a look and whilst the products were interesting ( fitness injury recovery & rehabilitation - ice baths etc ) engagement and interaction from the audience was very very low The issue was his instagram page lacked any real identity or cohesion too much effort was being focused on simply trying to sell the products via direct response and influencer marketing campaigns Fine BUT as I keep preaching consumers and audiences are wise to this practice , if you want organic engagement you either need to be relatable / controversial or FUNNY !! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now anyone can use this hack I am about to share Go to the explore page on instagram and type in a product or service related to your niche .... find a reel , topic or theme that has already gone viral with 500K+ views ( can be less for local products / services) also look at the volume of comments and shares the post has Next watch that video or post on repeat and read the comments to find out WHY its gone viral there will generally be some sort of theme or topic repeatedly coming up in the comments that people are reacting too Study what's happening in the content !?! it's very important as there are often clues as to why its triggered so much reaction and engagement and ultimately that is what the algorithms love All you then have to do is extract the elements the audience is engaging with and apply it to your own content. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the case of our community member after a bit of searching this reel caught my attention https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFYZkXPyT2m/?igsh=MWN0M2l4dnRoYmFseQ== This video went what I call "super viral" ( 50 million plus views)
Shifts in ecom consumer buying habits
We aren't in 2016 anymore guys , People know what influencer's are all about and they know what sponsored posts mean The hard and fast sell is dead ! 🚨 Some major shifts I'm seeing: - People research longer before buying, relying on communities, reviews, and organic content over ads. - The rise of 'de-influencing'—traditional influencer marketing isn’t as effective anymore without real authenticity. - Brands that create experiences, not just products, are the ones winning. 🔑 How to stay ahead of the shift: 1️⃣ Leverage UGC & Community Hype – Customers trust real people over brands. Prioritize organic reviews, real customer stories, and community-driven content over polished ad creatives. 2️⃣ Carve out your fanbase– People don’t just want a product; they want to be part of something that resonates with their personality use your brand to relate too convey that personality 3️⃣ Ditch the Hard Sell – Instead of screaming "BUY NOW!", focus on storytelling, education, and engagement. Help first, sell second. What’s the biggest shift you’ve noticed? Drop it below ⬇️
