The Fool
The Fool is the first of the Major Arcana cards. He/she is given the number "0". Why? Because a circle is never ending, with no real beginning or end. Although we all start here and travel through life's many trials. I don't think we ever truly "grow up" which is a good thing. It allows us the opportunity to restart when we need to. When this card shows up in a reading it can be a reminder that is what we need to do ... Take a deep breath and a leap of faith and trust in the Universe's reminder and gentle push Our first real chance to be "The Fool" is when we first fly the coup, head out on our own, away from our parents after finishing High School. We have few material goods of our own at this time so packing our belongings in a small sac and heading out in to the world carefree is easy at an early age The white flower in the left hand is a symbol that spirit (the universe) is supporting the new venture and perhaps even giving (you) the courage to take this step into the unknown. So let go of fears and doubts and trust in your ability to create something new for yourself. What's life without a new direction, some exploration, no matter your age or current circumstance in life. Abundance is a natural state of being when you don't let all the "rules" weigh you down. Isn't that why you are here in this community? 😊 When this card appears to you trust.the message and take that step forward into a new adventure

The Major Arcana
Every Tarot card deck consists of 78 cards. The Major Arcana are the first 22 and they represent the major milestones of our lives The word "arcana' is Latin meaning secrets, so the Major Arcana represent the "greater secrets" of life. They show the ' bigger picture' of life, from birth, education, work, marriage, all the way to life's completion, or death Many also hold the belief.they represent the "Fool's" (your and mine) journey. If you study these cards you will get a feel for just how accurate this interpretation is. Each card is assigned a number, each number holds a vibration, a deeper meaning. You will learn more about these vibrations and meanings as you go through the courses in this community Here they are, from 1 - 21 (written in Roman Numerals style). Traditional decks, like the Rider Waite cards seem here, use this style of numbering - 0 -The Fool - I - The Magician - II - The High Priestess - III - The Empress - IV - The Emperor - V - The Hierophant - VI - The Lovers - VII - The Chariot - VIII - Strength - IX - The Hermit - X - Wheel of Fortune - XI - Justice - XII - The Hanged Man - XIII - Death - XIV - Temperance - XV - The Devil - XVI - The Tower - XVII - The Star - XVIII - The Moon - XIX - The Sun - XX - Judgement - XXI - The World Where are you on your lifes' journey? Do you know? Wouldn't you like to know? At age 66, with all I have experienced in my life, I find myself currently somewhere between the Moon 🌙 and the Sun ☀️ A little scary but a while lot more exciting too

Raising your vibrational level
Learning how to interpret and read Tarot cards is the first step toward using them to help guide your life. Raising your vibrational level helps you to read and understand more deeply. And raising your vibrational level also helps you to attract abundance more easily in to your life This morning a pulled an Oracle card for myself. I am always working on raising my vibration, and my morning practices, like sitting quietly listening to the early morning bird songs, is a perfect way for me to start off with love and positivity in my heart. My question to the universe this morning was simply how can I best continue to raise my vibration The answer? A repeat card Simply note that change is happening but perhaps not quite in line with my original thoughts. Stay the course and keep an open mind, and heart, for what comes next may be even better. Embrace change How are you working at raising your vibrations?

A Tarot Spread for the next three months
Anytime you ask the cards for advise or guidance using a specific spread (a way of laying out the cards) helps to get more specific answers. In this spread the 2 center cards represent who you are in the moment (bottom card) and what issue you are currently dealing with (the card that lays over top) The bottom card represents past history (recent likely) that led you to your current circumstance. The last 3 cards (going left, top, right) represent what your life looks like over the next 3 months (if you continue living your life in the same way) This one is for me (I told you I am happy to share mine with you. I am currently moving from east coast to west coast, visiting family along the way. I left a part time job to do this move but my debt load remains the same. Try looking at these cards yourself and let me know what kind of meaning you are seeing/feeling. Remember to trust your instincts. Write down whatever comes to you, even if it does not make sense to you. It will likely make sense to me (your querent). Trust in your feelings The cards have never let me down. Trust they will do the same for you

Shuffling of a Deck
This may sound like a simple question but is there a right or wrong way to shuffle a deck of Tarot of Oracle cards? Everyone has their own opinion on this but what truly matters is how YOU feel when shuffling. For instance, if you are having difficulty "connecting" with your deck the solution might be as easy as your shuffle technique. Ask yourself this, "Do I shuffle the deck of cards I use for games the same way?" Remember, the universe and the air around you is full of vibrational energy. The vibrations you send out will attract the same back to you. Perhaps the energies you are projecting are not serious; they are not projecting a true belief that the cards you are holding are a true communication tool My recommendations? - Do not "flip" the cards together (as you often see when people play the game of poker) - Do not use a shuffling device (one where you place the cards in a slanted surface and turn a handle to feed the cards through) I believe these techniques project a feeling of "gaming", whether you are conscious of this or not It's true that some Oracle card decks are wider than a Tarot deck and so for some difficult to hold.. In that case a simple technique of randomly splaying the cards out in front of you and then proceding to gather them up in small random piles is a perfectly fine way to do a shuffle In the end simply choose a way to shuffle the cards that "feels right" to you and allows you comfortable physical control of your deck. I recommend you use the same method each time, instilling in yourself a routine, and an air of belief in the cards, as a tool, and belief in yourself as a reader. Plus the cards will remain in tune with you more easily and sense your intensions to ask a question to receive their guidance With respect, Wendy
