New Community Member Perks
Good morning all, happy Sunday. Just wanted to let you know about 2 new things I have added to my classroom. For "free" membership you get immediate access to a course about what Tarot cards are. It is a work in progress and I will be adding and expanding the content over the next couple of weeks (be patient with me please :) ) I use Tarot cards myself, atleast on a monthly basis, so it just feels right to explain to you what they are exactly, so you might see why I am so attracted to them For annual membership members I am offering 1 free Tarot reading (I normally charge $75 for a reading) plus free access to the second course, "Learn to Read Tarot Cards" This course will be completed and accessible by mid April. The annual membership is $150 I started studying the Tarot a few years ago, even taking lessons from John Edward (Medium) and Sandy Anastasi (psychic channel, Astrologer, Tarot reader). I took Sandy's very first online" learn Tarot through the Kabbalah" course. That course affected me in such a profound way; its rather hard to explain but it is certainly imbedded in my mind and spirit (and I'm not Jewish) I have read a lot of books on Tarot and I have quite a nice collection of Tarot cards. I suppose you might say I may be a little addicted to them. They certainly are my go to when I am looking for some insight, even advice, when I am feeling lost or uncertain about something in my own life. The cards are a great way to get an unbiased opinion. Family and friends, because the have a vested interested in my life (as your friends and family do in yours) often end up giving me their "opinions" and that is not usually what I need. The Healing Affects of Sound
Have you ever heard the phrase "music soothes the savage beast"? Science (for those who feel more comfortable with some real proof) has proven that sound frequencies, including music, have definable and exact influences on the human body, including the mind. Certain frequencies can have harmful effects but others have very positive effects of people, even healing There are a lot of published works, and websites and Youtube channels, that address these facts. Facts, not fiction like some may still believe. These facts, and my own belief and experiences, led me to study sound therapy. I have used tuning forks, for example, on my own body to help speed healing. Drums, bells, chimes, and "singing bowls" are also used to help people heal. And remember, we are not just talking physical health here, we are also talking mental health Hospitals and other health care centers have used sound therapy, for example, to help patience relax before surgeries. Supermarkets, restaurants, and malls use music to elicit certain responses from shoppers and diners. I will delve deeper in to this topic, if community members wish me to, in a future post. Forest bathing? Say what...
Sounds funky eh, but although this may seem like a new term to lots of people its something many have done for generations. If you have ever gone for a walk in a forest, or any wooded area, you've done it...you have bathed in the forest Now, meditation...I know you have heard that word. Most people envision sitting cross-legged with your eyes closed and index and thumb of each hand touching...and chanting "ohm". Well it is a thing, and people do, but I'm afraid at my age my knees would object and I would likely end up in hospital trying to get untied :) No matter what stance you take in meditation it is simply meant to help you concentrate. A sitting meditation just doesn't work for me, not just because I can't sit cross legged for more than 30 seconds without causing some pain but because I have great difficulty "shutting up" and shutting off my brain. Anyone else have that problem? Forest Bathing is a form of meditation I can handle. When I need to get away from the chaos of the world, and even get away from myself, nothing for me is more soothing than a walk in the woods. And if you don't live near a forest or park then any well treed, quiet neighborhood will do just as well. Do you live near a public gardens area? Even though these places might still have a lot of people around you can still find an "inner peace" for yourself by spending some time there. Nature has a wonderous way of calming our minds, no matter what your current worries may be Please be kind to yourself and spend some time out in nature. It is the simplest way to heal. It truly is magical, and you might be surprised at the wisdom you find within just by finding your "calm"

Change of seasons vs change of your vibrational energy
Did you know that as the physical seasons change your energy changes as well. Do you feel it? Are you in-tune with nature or do you find natures' changing seasons difficult to deal with? If it is difficult for you how do you deal with it? I would love to hear your thoughts and reactions
