Boss Looper sucks

I finally got to try the Boss Looper and it is the worst pedal I have ever used. I swear it is completely impossible to time any loop so it just plays through. If you can't make a solid timed loop then the pedal is useless. I screwed around way too long, watched quite a few tutorial videos, pulled up the user manual, and I think I'm either gonna have to try to sell it or just throw it in the trash. I find it completely useless.
