Are you 'picky'?

I saw a question on fb that piqued my interest, but in a twisted way. They were asking 'what pick do you use?' My response was this here, I have no idea what pick it is, I don't lose pics often, so I will use this until it dies, then grab another one, it doesn't particularly matter exactly what pick I wind up with.

So this bring on my question, just how finicky do you feel about your set-up? People ask how often they should set up their guitar? I have a 20 year old strat, I bought it from a reputable music store, and it never occurred to me about set-up. I recently got curious, and tested each fret/string position above the 12th fret, and they all seem great. (As I told my brother, I don't get up there often... lol)
