My son loved his kit bass I built for him, so much that he wants to do a kit LP. I’ve got him hooked and doing really well at spraying. Making nice progress!

I dont typically post a lot but as I go through school for lutherie, I have definitely learned a few things about guitar players. We all think we know everything about guitars (at least I felt like I knew most of it). We do not🤣 the more I repair instruments that people have attempted to repair before me, the more I have come to the conclusion that guitar players can tinker themselves into a hell of an expensive bill. My intent is not to ruffle feathers but to mearly point out the fact that as guitar players the quest for more knowledge and the need to customize things can really get us into trouble. Has anyone else had this with their own instruments?

I changed out my son's old ceiling fan when the motor started making noise. The fan was from the early 80s and I just loved the vintage look of it. So I got an idea! and turned it into a new speaker cabinet for my amp. What do you think?

Hi all. I hope this is appropriate to post here. I just wanted to see if anyone is in the north/northwest GA area and would like to set up a casual jam. There aren’t a lot of opportunities to jam with people in my area but since this community is so close I thought it would be great to jam with people on here. All instruments and levels welcome, we could event help each other learn. I also play bass and I’m learning drums. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR EXACT LOCATION OR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
