Here are some swings from in game recently. I have made changes in my swing and they have been feeling pretty good recently. I have mainly tried to stride less far, load my back elbow more, not move forward in my swing, and not close myself off as much in my swing so I can see the ball better.

🌟 Fired Up or Frustrated: Monday Treats You the Same
Because I know some of you are walking into this week fired up. You had good at-bats, the ball was jumping off the bat, and everything felt right. That’s awesome. Hold onto that feeling, but don’t get comfortable. That momentum is yours to keep or lose. Show up this week like you’ve got something to prove. And some of you? The weekend was rough. Maybe you couldn’t find your timing, maybe you pressed too hard, maybe it just wasn’t your weekend. That’s okay. It happens to every hitter at every level, I promise you that. But here’s what I need from you right now!!! Leave it there. Don’t bring it into the cage with you this week. A bad tournament doesn’t mean your swing stinks and you’re a bad player. It’s just a bad weekend. And a bad weekend means nothing if you respond the right way starting today. Either way, good weekend or bad, Monday is where it gets decided. Not Saturday. Not Sunday. Today. Get to work. I’m in your corner. 💪 What was one thing from this weekend you want to clean up or build on? Drop it below — let’s talk through it. 👇

🔎I Sat With A MLB Scout Last Week… Here’s What He Looks For.
Last week I sat next to a Kansas City scout for multiple games and got to pick his brain on what he actually looks for when scouting players. Obviously tools matter. Speed. Bat speed. Arm strength. Defense. Athleticism. But one thing he kept coming back to was competitiveness and hustle. He flat out told me there are talented Oklahoma HS players he DIDN’T write up because of poor body language, lack of effort, not running balls out, jogging on and off the field, and playing the game with no urgency. Talent opens the door. Competitiveness keeps it open. Scouts are always watching: • How you respond after failure • How hard you run • How you carry yourself • Your energy in between pitches • If your teammates respect how you compete A lot of players think scouts only evaluate tools. They’re evaluating makeup too.
