New to the world of Nurse Coaching
Hi! I'm new to this group. I recently joined because I'm looking for advice from anyone who is already working as a nurse coach or has their nc-bc / hn-bc or both! Which program did you use to train before taking boards, or did you not use a program at all?
I'm comparing Nurse Coach Collective, Nurse Life Coach Academy, and National Institute of whole health so far.
Also, did you feel having more education helped you or was it not necessary? I'm about to finish up my BSN and really want to get into nurse coaching but I'm scared to take the leap haha.
Before i found out about coaching i was dead set on getting my MSN in care coordination. Now I'm torn if that's the right decision. (It is relatively cheap and will only take 6-9 months btw).
So I guess my question are:
  1. If you went to a coaching program, which one did you choose?
  2. If you have your msn has it helped you to have it?
  3. If you have your bsn do you feel like getting your msn would make a difference?
  4. If you have the certs do you feel like they have helped you?
Thanks everyone sorry for the long post! ❤️
