This one caused a full re-sign 🫣
A deed was completed and sent back… But it got rejected
Reason?
❌ The notary didn’t include the venue (State & County)
That small detail meant:
• The document couldn’t be recorded
• The signing had to be done again
• Everyone involved had to go through the process twice
To make it more complicated, the signer is now in a different state (FL), so coordinating the re-sign isn’t as simple as before
All of this… for one missing line
Reminder:
The venue might feel like a small thing, but it’s critical for recording.
