CMMC Level 2 Delay Notice
The delay gives you time to prepare, not time to ignore it.
CMMC Phase II requirements were suspended on July 13, 2026.
That gives defense contractors more breathing room.
But breathing room is not the same thing as permission to ignore compliance.
The official update says Phase I self-assessment requirements remain in place, and contractors still have obligations to protect federal data.
