There has to be a better way. posting and waiting or hoping someone will help or guide you, but only get partial answers, and if I have more questions it drags, or does not get response, very frustrating!

DLA/DIBBS Account Validation - Unusual Requirements?
Hey everyone, I've hit a bit of a snag with my DLA DIBBS account validation and wanted to get your thoughts and experiences on this. As you know, SAM.gov registrations for services generally don't require extensive verification beyond basic entity and EIN info. However, the DLA/DOD is asking for significantly more detailed information, seemingly scrutinizing my business history and capabilities beyond what's typically expected for a new or small intermediary seller. They're requesting things like past government/commercial experience, detailed business operations, Secretary of State info, and even explanations and photos if I'm registered as a manufacturer at a residential address. They're also asking for IDs for all officers/principals. This seems to go beyond simply verifying a valid business entity. Has anyone else encountered such in-depth requirements for DIBBS account activation, especially as a newer or smaller vendor aiming to be a middleman? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

@Gregory Norwood this is all standardpractice and requirements for doing business with the GOVERNMENT. In the DLA side you are supporting the warfighter, which means huge security measures. On a side not get all the information filled out and submitted to the the Validation team as soon as possible. The longer you delay the longer it takes!
Packaging
Hey guys, I have 2 questions for you. 1. Where is the best place to buy ASTM D5118 fiberboard boxes? 2. Where is the best place to buy all things related to MIL STD 2073 packaging, such as unit containers and cushioning material?

Clarification on Printing Item Labels in VSM for PG Unit of Issue
Hello , I need some assistance with printing item labels via VSM for a shipment with the following details: - Quantity: 54 PG - Conversion: 1 PG = 5 pieces, totaling 270 pieces - Issue: The quantity is displaying as 54 (not 270) Could you please clarify the following: 1. Should I enter "PG" in the Unit of Issue Detail box, or should I reflect the total number of pieces? 2. What should be entered for the LOT number in this case? 3. Since the items do not contain serial numbers, what should I input in the Serial Numbers section? @Rudy Cadena @Day Cantave

Yes Enter the unit of issue Lot number will stay blank Serial number is the NSN when no serial number applies. This will be used for each and every label. Also be sure the select the date preserved which will be the current month you received your product and inspect it. @Sherron Finney if you need any more help reach out! Your qty should be 54 pg that is the correct amount which means you will need only 54 labels printed off.
