Hey everyone! I'm so excited to be here! I'm Laura I’m an English tutor with NL Tutoring, and I’ve been teaching English Language and Literature for the past 8 years. I absolutely love helping students grow in confidence and find their voice through reading and writing. Outside of tutoring and teaching, I’m a proud mum of three amazing kids – two boys and a girl – who keep me on my toes and bring so much joy. We love days out, playing games, and making memories together. I’m also a big dog lover – I have three dogs, including a slightly crazy but super loveable pug who makes us all laugh every day. Hi, my name is Colin and I have two twin girls. I am looking for support with English Literature. My one daughter does not get how to revise quotations and the other can't analyse. I want them to be able to get a level 4 or 5. Not really the top grades but just enough for them to go to college or university if they want to. I'm the Student Success Specialist at NL Tutoring, which means I’m your go-to person for everything from setting up your first tutoring appointments to answering any questions students or parents might have along the way. I’m passionate about helping families feel supported and confident throughout their learning journey. I’ve spent my entire career in customer service, and I genuinely love connecting with people. Over the years, I’ve also become the unofficial social media manager in many of my roles—if there’s an Instagram page to be run, I’m usually behind it! When I’m not working, you can find me diving into video games, trying out amazing food, or getting lost in fantasy novels and graphic novels. And soon, I’ll be joined at home by a brand new kitten—my future sidekick in all things cozy and chaotic.

Hi My name is Tash and I am the founder of NL Tutoring. I set up this Skool as a way of providing advice and support to parents and students sitting GCSE English or Maths. With over 14 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, helping them master English Literature and English Language. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the curriculum, and I am passionate about making learning accessible and engaging for every student. We have a breadth of experience within the NL Tutoring team with qualified examiners in Literature, Language and maths. For fun I like to go for long walks with my partner and my dog Murphy: a crazy labrador! I enjoy going to the gym, baking cakes (and eating them) and reading some good books.
