🌿 Dealing with Anxiety? Here are 8 Tips to Help You Feel Better 🌿
Get Enough Sleep 💤Lack of sleep can make anxiety worse. Aim for 7-9 hours each night to help your mind and body recharge. Focus on Your Breathing 🧘‍♀️Deep breathing can help calm your nervous system. Try breathing in for 4 seconds, holding for 4 seconds, and exhaling for 4 seconds. Talk to a Loved One 💬Don’t bottle things up. Talking to a friend, family member, or anyone you trust can provide support and perspective. Relax with Hobbies 🧩Engage in activities you enjoy, like drawing, reading, or playing a sport. Hobbies can help take your mind off worries and make you feel more grounded. Eat Healthy Food 🥑A balanced diet with fruits, veggies, and healthy fats can support both your body and mind. Avoid too much caffeine or sugar, which can make anxiety worse. Exercise Daily 🏃‍♀️Physical activity releases endorphins, which are natural mood boosters. Even a 20-minute walk can help lower anxiety. Manage Your Time ⏰Being organized can reduce stress. Break big tasks into smaller ones and set realistic deadlines. Create To-Do Lists ✅Writing things down helps you stay on track and prevents overwhelming thoughts. Checking off tasks can also give you a sense of accomplishment. Remember, it’s okay to take small steps. Start with one or two tips, and gradually add more as you feel comfortable. You’ve got this! 💪💙
🌿 Dealing with Anxiety? Here are 8 Tips to Help You Feel Better 🌿
Introduction
Hey everyone! I'm so excited to be here! I'm Laura I’m an English tutor with NL Tutoring, and I’ve been teaching English Language and Literature for the past 8 years. I absolutely love helping students grow in confidence and find their voice through reading and writing. Outside of tutoring and teaching, I’m a proud mum of three amazing kids – two boys and a girl – who keep me on my toes and bring so much joy. We love days out, playing games, and making memories together. I’m also a big dog lover – I have three dogs, including a slightly crazy but super loveable pug who makes us all laugh every day. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me curled up with a fantasy novel (any recommendations are always welcome!). Looking forward to connecting, sharing, and learning with you all! 💬📚🐾

I'm also a huge fantasy lover! I recently enjoyed reading Legends & Lattes, a nice easy-going cosy fantasy read!

@Natasha Lewis it's definitely hard to switch off from it, I also try to do the hour before bed away from it as often as I can!

I was obsessed with Skulduggery Pleasant in my early teens!! I keep considering going back to them because I think there was only 2 out at that time!
