A Little Movement = A Big Boost for GCSE Brains 🧠💪
With another school year now in full swing, it’s so easy for our teens to stay glued to their desks for hours. But here’s the thing — moving their bodies actually helps their brains work better. Exercise gets more oxygen and nutrients flowing to the brain, which makes it easier to focus, remember stuff, and even stay calmer under pressure. And it doesn’t have to be a full-on workout — just heading out for a walk in the fresh air can make a huge difference. Just don’t do what Murphy and I did yesterday. Aimed for 2-3 mile walk, got lost and ended up doing 8 miles! My poor feet today! So if your teen’s feeling stuck, encourage them to take a break and move a little. Sometimes a quick walk is the best revision tool there is. 🚶♀️✨ How does your teen like to recharge when school or revision gets heavy? I would love to share all of your ideas below.
